Our Metal Recycling Division first got started in Sakai City in Osaka in 1917, as a wholesaler of machinery and raw materials for steelmaking. Since then, we have become a regional leader in the field of steel recycling for over 90 years, and we have been dedicated to our motto of customer service and building on technical know-how in processing steel scrap. 40% of the steel currently used has steel scrap as the raw material, and steel scrap is a raw material that is recycled as an important "steel source." Nakatsuji Limited is playing a vital role in the conservation of raw materials for steel by striving to provide a stable supply of marketable steel scrap products, building on its years of experience and proven track record.

We have a full range of metal processing services that can handle not only steel scrap, but also stainless steel, aluminum, rare earth metals, and other non-ferrous metals. We even have operations overseas. We can provide appropriate product information and analysis, to meet the needs of individual users.

As a newly designated key company in the Kansai Region for the Japan Recycling Network (J-RIC), we have started recycling operations for used office automation equipment and vending machines. Nakatsuji Limited dismantles and separates the parts and materials from these machines, and the metal materials are recycled via its conventional metal recycling routes, and other parts are volume-reduced or "refabricated" for reuse. We aim for earth-friendly "zero waste" based on know-how gained in the effective use of resources in the metal recycling business for over 90 years.
